Sarah is the founder of Reach for Solace and is also a qualified therapist.
"I believe with the right support, we can all achieve positive change. I’m an integrative therapeutic counsellor working with Transactional Analysis, CBT and Gestalt. I can also work creatively with you to bypass cognitive defences and work with your subconscious on a deeper level of exploration and bring about positive change.
I deeply attune to you & respond to your individual needs, shaping my therapeutic approach accordingly. I assist you in the learning of useful coping & self soothing techniques to help you to feel better in the present.
I have a wealth of clinical experience having worked in both the public & private sectors and currently work as the lead therapist at 'Reach for Solace'. I am aware people can deny their 'negative' emotions due to feeling overwhelmed, confused, helpless and they can often lack in helpful coping mechanisms and the ability to self soothe. Clients can learn to self soothe by learning from me often using my voice until their voice becomes stronger and kinder which can bring about positive change."
