Sarah is the founder of Reach for Solace and is also a qualified counsellor & Life Coach.
"I believe with the right support, we can all achieve positive change. I’m an integrative therapeutic counsellor working with Transactional Analysis, CBT and Gestalt. I also work creatively with you to bypass cognitive defense mechanisms and working with your subconscious mind to help you update outdated beliefs that no longer serve you.
One size does not fit alI so I attune to you & respond to your individual needs, shaping my therapeutic approach accordingly. I assist you in the learning of useful coping & self soothing techniques.
I have a wealth of clinical experience having worked in both the public & private sectors and currently work as the lead therapist and coach at 'Reach for Solace'. I am aware people can deny their 'negative' emotions due to feeling overwhelmed, confused and helpless. Clients can learn to self soothe by learning from me often using my voice until their voice becomes stronger and kinder which can bring about feelings of being empowered."
As a coach I help people create the positive change they are ready for in their life. I thoroughly enjoy seeing people go from being tired of feeling stuck to building a better relationship with themselves and creating the life they want. Inner transformation happens- from self improvement and self discovery to mindset shifts.
Reach for Solace therapists and coaches have a wealth of clinical experience working in the public and private sectors and they all have CPD (continued professional development) and are MBACP Registered (Members of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy)
